| HOT RACKETS HERTFORDSHIRE SEASON 2012 - ALL SYSTEMS GO..WITH A GIANT LEAP..FOR THE NEW 2012 TENNIS SEASON |

Everything is now set for the start of the new 'Hot Rackets' 2012 Season.
We thought the start of the 2011 season was exciting with 20 new teams and 11 new clubs joining Hot Rackets, well 2012 is even better with a further, staggering, 22 NEW TEAMS & 13 NEW CLUBS joining the 2012 Hot Rackets 2 Pair Doubles Tournament.
This has enabled us to increase the ladies section from 4 to 7 divisions, and the men's section from 4 to 5 divisions. In fact this year we now have 37 CLUBS, 71 TEAMS and 12 DIVISIONS.
This is fantastic considering we only started in 2009 with 9 clubs, 20 teams and 4 divisions.
That is a 'GIANT LEAP' in clubs, teams and divisions in just 3 seasons, couple this, with the new link to the Herts LTA 3 Pair Tournament, and it all makes for a very exciting future!
May we take this opportunity of thanking all the clubs and players that have helped and supported Hot Rackets Inter Club Tennis Leagues UK to become a success in Hertfordshire.

All the teams, fixtures, club contact details, etc, are now entered and are 'live' on the Hot Rackets web site. The first matches commence in April, and a full Fixture Programme goes through until the end of the season, which is SUNDAY 3Oth SEPTEMBER. Please use the web site regularly as it will be constantly changing from April, as matches are played and scores are registered, and the league positions and team 'stats' start to take shape. Please send in any match reports, news or team/individual photographs relating to your matches, players or club. We will make sure any photographs, club information, news, or details are 'uploaded' to the site quickly
Please help us to make the 'Hot Rackets' Leagues run smoothly by 'working' to the following points:
UPLOADING MATCH RESULTS:
Please make sure if you are the winning captain, that you 'upload' your match scores within 72 HOURS (3 DAYS), from the match date, so the league positions will automatically update immediately and the the web site will be showing the latest 'up to the minute' league positions & club 'stats' information.
REARRANGED MATCH DATES:
If a match date is rearranged please could the captain/team who is INITIATING THE CHANGE please contact us immediately with the new fixture date & time.
Also regarding cancelled/abandoned matches through bad weather, could the HOME TEAM Captain again please contact us immediately.
In both cases all that is required is a simple email with your club name, your division, ladies or men, and the old & new fixture date. This will help us to update the web site and keep all the fixture dates & times 'up to the minute' and correct.
If you need any information regarding the Rules or Match Play Procedure please look on the web site home page and click on Score Sheet & Rules. This will give you a quick overveiw of the match format etc, or for more detailed information just click on the League Rules or Match Play Procedure icons. You can also click on the Score & Result Sheet icon if you require a paper Score Sheet.
