The Hot Rackets tennis season opened on Saturday 10th April 2010 with a ladies Division 2 match, Ponsbourne 2 v Orchard 2, and what a fantastic 'opener' with two such evenly matched teams who created a brilliant tennis match displaying some first class tennis played in a sporting, competitve and friendly manner. With two 3rd set 'champions tie breaks being played to decide two of the rubbers, this evenly balanced match was finally won by Ponsboune Ladies 3-1.
Well done to both teams of ladies who created a match played in such good spirit and displaying such inspiring tennis.......... the stage is set for a great season! |
